Write a paragraph discussing: In what situations is it okay to digitally manipulate photos? In what situations is it wrong to digitally alter a photo? How can altered photos be harmful to photojournalism?
I think that it would be okay to manipulate a photo for a movie or some activity where the picture can not effect people and if it could by any chance it should be stated that the photo has been manipulated. It would be wrong to manipulate a photo that goes on the news or maybe even an imported magazine like time even the newspaper. These sources are essential to individuals who wish to keep up with the world and if photos are altered then they give out wrong information that can not only confuse the readers but may for wedges between people. These altered photos could be harmful to photojournalism because the photographer could lose his creditability.
